Autumn 1 

What a great and busy start to Year 6 we have had. It was lovely to hear about the different things we had all been up to over the summer. In science, we started the term by classifying animals according to their similarities and differences. In History, we were introduced to the Mayans, learning who they were and when they lived. We labelled the main countries in Central America to show where they came from.

 

We have flown through our first English unit of Hansel and Gretel and have really impressed the adults with our grammar knowledge and extensive vocabulary. We can't wait to write our own ending to the fairy tale.
