Autumn 1 

 

Year 1 have had a great start to the term! They are really enjoying being ‘big’ children and helping with jobs around the class. In English we have been focusing on the story ‘lost and found’. Children have written some fantastic sentences about the story and have enjoyed role playing the different characters. In Science, we are learning about ‘animals including humans’ where children have learnt about various animals and grouped them into reptiles, mammals, amphibians and fish. In PSHE, children have learnt about first aid and how to keep safe. Children are really enjoying their new reading corner and sharing a book with friends!
