Pupil Premium

The school receives funds for disadvantaged pupils through the Pupil Premium Grant. Pupils entitled to Free School Meals, Looked After Children, Post Adoptive Children and those of Service Families are all entitled to benefit from the provision of this funding.

We use the funds to employ an inclusion leader in the school (Mr Simpson) and a trained LSA/ELSA (Mrs Jones) to provide support including emotional and well-being, 1:1 and small group support, specific resources to pupils, sessions for parents and to support the cost of school activities where a voluntary contribution is requested from parents. Some of the other Pupil Premium provision we have is:

  • 1:1 individual support and small group work
  • Extra phonics sessions
