Vacancies

There is not a fixed number of governor roles at Thornton Primary School.  The governing body aims to ensure that it is sufficiently diverse in order to that all of the school's stakeholders are appropriately represented.  It also recognises that it is important to have the right blend of skills and experience within the group to so that it is able to hold the school to account effectively and discharge its statutory responsibilities.

Currently the governing body recognises that it has a gap in its skill-set and is looking to recruit a further governor who has experience in aspects of health and safety together with premises.
