Year 6 Curriculum Coverage 24-25

Year 5 and 6 have made a great start to the new year. They have settled in brilliantly and are going to be amazing role-models for the rest of the school.

In English, we have been reading a traditional version of Hansel and Gretel. We’ve had fun acting out some of the key moments and rewriting parts using our imagination.

In history, we have travelled back to the days of the Mayan civilisation. We are looking forward to investigating this amazing culture. In science, we have begun learning about inheritance and evolution. In maths, we have been learning about place value up to 10,000,000 and Roman numerals.

The children are working extremely hard. Well done guys - keep up the hard work!
